Outdoor beauties: Hyacinths // Ogrodowe piękności: Hiacynty



Finally! The garden hyacinths that have an overpowering scent have just bloomed! 
I just regret having too few of them, I'm going to buy some more for the next spring.

Nareszcie! Rozkwitły właśnie hiacynty, które mają tak odurzający zapach! 
Żałuję tylko, jest ich tak mało, myślę, że dokupię kilka na przyszłoroczną wiosnę.

    Are these Hyacinths ones that are "designed" for outdoor growing, or are they ones that were previously grown indoors and then transplanted to your garden? They look as if the have fewer individual flowers on each stem than the ones we sold for forcing, indoors.

      These are my mom's hyacinths, she claims they were bought as garden ones. Maybe they froze a bit during winter, I don't know, but clearly they lack some flowers.
      Mine, which I had bought last year as indoor hyacinths (and then were planted outside) didn't flower this year in the garden. We'll see next year.
