  2. We had a white rabbit on our site a few weeks ago! That one won't last long sitting in the road! It looks a bit like a hare

    1. Yes, it is a hare. Like Alice in Wonderland's March Hare - although, this one is August hare :)

  3. Is it a rabbit or a hare? Where is she looking for on that road? Is she lost? Haha we don't know but she looks pretty.

    1. It's a hare. I saw it on the road while I was driving, it was eating something from the meadow on the left. I had to wait till it disappeared in the grasses.

  4. Faktycznie, uciekł z krainy czarów. Kilka lat nie widziałam tego stworzenia.
    Życzę Ci miłej, chłodnej niedzieli.

  8. Are you allowed to shoot / trap hares, where you live? Their meat is very nice to eat!

    1. Shooting wild hares is illegal, you can only buy farm rabbits for their meat at almost any bigger farm market. Many people in my neighborhood raise rabbits and then eat them. I don't know if there is a big difference between hare and rabbit meat but I know that rabbit meat is very good.
