It's a hare. I saw it on the road while I was driving, it was eating something from the meadow on the left. I had to wait till it disappeared in the grasses.
Woow! What an adorable rabbit! It's like Peter Rabbit:) Can't be happend here in Tokyo, so I'm excited! By the way, the road along with wild flowers looks attractive!! You live in a beautiful country!
Shooting wild hares is illegal, you can only buy farm rabbits for their meat at almost any bigger farm market. Many people in my neighborhood raise rabbits and then eat them. I don't know if there is a big difference between hare and rabbit meat but I know that rabbit meat is very good.
