Easter Monday or 'Snowy Monday' :) // Lany Poniedziałek! albo 'Śnieżny Poniedziałek' :)

Easter Monday is called 'Wet Monday' in Poland. People are allowed to sprinkle one another with water. It is supposed to bring luck and 'cleanse them from the dirt and sins'.

  4. Hope you had a lovely Easter. Does throwing snowballs count as sprinkling water, given the weather? :)

And here I have been complaining that the weather is a bit too cold to harden off my seedlings. We have escaped the snow over the last few weeks thankfully. Hope it warms up for you soon!

  6. I never heard of wet monday! What a fun tradition! That certainly is a lot of snow. It looks quite heavy on the boughs of the trees.

  7. Oh my goodness, that's not very wet at all. I guess it will be when it all melts. Sounds like a fun tradition. It's fun to learn about these things. Thank you for visiting my blog. :-)
